The Black History pages were created for on-air use on PCRL radio. In the early days a weekly booklet was printed-off for radio presenters use on their shows, later studio computers provided the details. In the studio there was a Dragon 32 computer [made in Wales] was used, using a USA made 6809 chip that was developed for the Space Shuttle! Some DJ's put it to good use, others ignored it. Now the radio station is no longer broadcasting the information is now available for other Black radio use all over the world.
The calendar can also be used in conjunction with radio programmers ahead of broadcast time to arrange suitable Tributes on the shows. Black Heroes Past And Present, tributes are show at the top of each date, this was a short history program ran on each day on PCRL radio .
